Car Bag Restraint - Stops your bag flying forward in your car

If you're in the habit of placing your laptop bag or similar on the passenger seat of your car, you may want to keep reading... When braking suddenly, your unrestrained bag will often fly forward, but with this trick it won't! To create this solution, print out the attached clip design and acquire some standard width seatbelt webbing, roughly 35 to 40mm. Loop or attach it as shown in the images provided. The exact length needed may vary, however if you modify an existing shoulder strap from a bag, the added clip makes adjusting length a breeze! To secure your bag, place the looped end of the webbing over your car's seatbelt receptacle, then pull and fasten the belt as you would for a passenger. Next, hook the other end through your bag's handle and snap the 3D printed clip back into place. This keeps it firmly in position and prevents forward motion. Creating this strap is a straightforward process. To do so efficiently, simply modify an existing shoulder strap by cutting it to your desired length, then reattach the ends with hand stitching if needed. Important Note: Make sure the closed side of the 3D printed clip aligns with the seatbelt receptacle. This prevents any potential detachment when the strap is tugged toward the clipped side. A special Nissan adaptation is also available for those models equipped with a particular seatbelt buckle type. To install, simply attach the second STL file to your seat belt, which bypasses the need to manually loop the webbing around it and through the bag's handle.
