If you're looking for a tent that fits at the back door of your car, be prepared to spend a lot of money. This clamp gives you the chance to make your own for around $11. This is a simple clamp that can be placed at the back door of your car or van to create your very own back tent. All you need is a 3-meter rubber band with a diameter of up to 10 millimeters (I used an 8-millimeter one) from your local hardware store and some canvas. You'll need eight clamps for it to fit properly. Make sure it fits on your car before proceeding. I made mine for a Volkswagen T4. You could also use some stakes to attach the canvas and connect it only at the top of the construction, allowing you to close the back door while still having a tent or cover to use. To attach the canvas to the rubber band, you can use a carabiner hook, cable tie, or simply some rope. For extra support, connect the canvas to the ground using hooks. Note: Scale the file with your slicer to 50% before printing! And don't forget to remove the construction before driving.
