Captured Dollar Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
Someone asked if I could create a Captured Sackagawea Fidget Spinner to go along with my other Captured Coin fidget spinners, so here it is. I used Fusion 360 for this design, and while I'm still learning the software, I think this design could probably be improved. Designed to fit one dollar in each hole, making my cost $3.73 (three dollars, one bearing, plastic), I carefully selected all materials. To assemble this fidget spinner correctly, you must pause the printer at about 55% complete and drop the dollars into place. You can find the bearings that I used on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C9XDPVQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The US Mint is where you can get the dollars needed for this project. Important Notes: At about 55% complete, pause the printing and drop the dollars into place. Use one dollar per coin hole to ensure a smooth assembly process. Make sure the sides of the coins showing are the ones you want visible. CAUTION - The dollars hold heat from the bed much longer than the plastic.
