Capture The Flag

I was eager to set up a game of Capture the Flag with the kids, so I decided to create custom flags instead of simply tying a piece of fabric to a pole. To do this, I designed these brackets that would attach securely to a 3/4 PVC pipe without requiring any tools. The top bracket has a small cap to keep it in place, while the bottom one is designed to friction fit onto the pipe. Next, I fed a corner of a piece of fabric, such as a bandanna, through each bracket and looped it around to create a secure knot. With these easy-to-use flags, we were ready for action! I also created an alternative version that has a slight split in the middle, allowing it to open up slightly and accommodate any minute differences in pipe diameter or fit onto painted pipes if needed. Now it's time to grab our flags and have some fun with the kids!
