Captive nut knob for Table Saw
thingiverse
This is a simple low-profile knob to turn a nut on a 1/4'' bolt. The hexagonal pocket should fit a standard 7/16'' nut snugly without excessive force or the need for glue. The pocket is sized to 11.1mm across the flats (nut was measured at 10.91), with the printer's hole shrinkage taking up the rest of the space. I needed this knob to be less than 25mm in diameter as anything more would obstruct material pressed against the fence on my table saw.
