Summary - Replacement for the captive door handle and seal on a Coleman high-efficiency furnace.

Story - while opening the door on the top of my furnace, the original captive doorknob popped out and rolled into a hole in the floor. I used the second knob as a model and designed this replacement captive doorknob for the furnace door, getting a close match. The replacement fits perfectly, and functions identically to the original.

How to print:

There are two parts - Knob - PETG - It's a furnace door. Seal - TPU - It's a seal.

The included .3mf for the knob has support enforcers defined and generates a decent amount of supports. Take them off carefully with a pick and a file and cutters. You will be rewarded with a fully functional knob that fits within the accompanying seal.

Print the seal in TPU.

Assembly - slip the seal over the arms on the inside of the doorknob - just like the original. Look at the other one you already have to see how they go together. Put the flat side of the seal against the knob. Then, angle the knob assembly into the furnace door from the outside, snap it into place.
