Captain's Lantern

Here are the files for my Captain's lantern. I designed these parts in a modular fashion to eliminate the need for any supports, making printing a breeze. To bring your lantern to life, you will need: 1 x Top 6 x Frames (these lay flat on the bed and print quickly) 1 x Base 1 x Stand All of these parts require no supports. Next, it's time to add some visual flair with: 1 x Lens (this should be printed in vase mode using a transparent material that resembles glass) Once assembled, you can glue the base onto the stand, slot in the frames, drop in the lens, and finally attach the top. I took an extra step by gluing the frames together and into the base to ensure the top can be easily removed. This design allows for ample space to fit LED candles or even neopixels, giving you endless options for color and effect. If you're looking for a more realistic flicker, neopixels are an excellent choice. I had a blast working on this project and hope you enjoy building and displaying your Captain's lantern as much as I did. Thanks, Bugman
