Captain Falcon Belt Buckle
thingiverse
I decided it was necessary to make a Captain Falcon Belt Buckle for a costume, so I set out to create one myself. A 2D picture I created in Photoshop became the model for the Falcon design when it was 3D-printed using Shapeways technology. I used Tinkercad to build the rest of the buckle. While it's not flawless, the overall accuracy is quite impressive. Some additional sanding will likely be needed to smooth out its blocky appearance. I also realized that attaching a buckle clip to the back would have been a wise move; I ended up doing just that in the end.
