I recently spotted a clever ring design featuring an integrated storage compartment, but I unfortunately mislaid it, prompting me to craft my own. Given the bulkiness of traditional hinges, I opted for threads instead, which proved to be a more practical choice. This custom-made ring is specifically tailored for a finger measuring 1.6 cm in diameter; simply scale up the design as necessary to accommodate larger finger sizes, and you'll end up with an even bigger compartment.
