Mini Greenhouse Creates Self-Sustaining Ecosystem in a Can A specially designed mini greenhouse lets plants thrive, creating their own ecosystem and staying practically self-sufficient. Using cans boosts humidity and keeps pests out by isolating the plant while still allowing air to enter. The rope at the bottom is for self-watering. It must be in contact with both the substrate and the water that will rise up through capillarity to the top level, depending on how much water we add or not to the soil. We advise changing the water and cleaning out the mini greenhouse every month, as well as replacing the rope every 2-3 months.
