Capresso Grounds Catcher Cup
thingiverse
My grounds catcher cup broke. They don't sell replacements. 3D printer to the rescue! I didn't have any transparent filament so I have no pictures of a transparent replacement but if you use transparent filament Please post a photo of your build. Transparent usually requires 100% fill to actually result in a transparent item but since I used PETG I got away with 20% fill. Although PLA should work fine, PETG is much more resilient therefore using it makes it more likely to withstand the kind of fall my OEM cup took. I typically print stuff like this in draft mode (0.3mm/layer) but I thought that would collect grounds in the crevasses so I printed at 0.15. The finer grounds still collect just a little but it stays relatively clean overall. UPDATE: I noticed the original .stl had a slight flaw in some of the build angles (None of the cup's sides are square to the base). The replacement (uploaded 2021.05.30) corrects the angles.
