#Capra R20 - RC Racer / Glider ###This was a french racer planned for the Deutsch de la Meurthe Cup Race - 1939. Never finished or flown due to the war and also motor issues (Flat 12 cyl - Béarn). ###Little information about this racer but this [blog from Jacques Moulin](http://aerophile.over-blog.com/article-les-premiers-avion-capra-52238091.html) relates his short story. ##Data - Wing span 830mm - Lenght ~600mm - [FAD18](http://rcaerolab.eklablog.com/profils-fad-p1287766) airfoil from Franck Aguerre (designed for 60" gliders and F3F pitcheron like the Hypnosys2) - Pitcheron setup - **CG 41mm**, rear limit 43mm on main carbon rod. - Whole plane is designed/predicted using [PredimRC](http://rcaerolab.eklablog.com/predimrc-p1144024) Requires : - Two servos : Hyperion DS09, Corona DS843MG or Graupner DES 427 BB - Lipo 3S-600mAh / 3S-850mAh - Motor [1806-2300Kv](http://rctimer.com/product-1128.html) + 20A controller + 5x4prop or similar setup - Tiny 4ch receiver - Main carbon rod diam. 6mm - 240mm long - 2mm balsa for elevator - Small parts (pvc tube 2/1mm, steel rod diam 2mm, magnets diam. 4mm, two ball joint...) ##Print - Around 200g of PLA+ (used recycled Zakata 3D850 for wings) - Printer height max 200mm. - No support required, just some brim. - Fuselage : Layer thickness 0.2mm - One 0.4mm wall (Will be lowered to 0.36mm for part3/part4) - Wing : Layer 0.2mm and line width 0.35mm. ##Weight - Wing : ~51g each wing - Fuselage parts : ~85g - RTF weight : around 375g with 3S -850mAh ##RC settings - Delta mixer - Elevator function: +/-8mm (measured at trailing edge / wing root) - Aileron function: +/-5mm - 4mm holes for magnets set the wing neutral position ##Updates - 23/04/2020 : Initial upload (v0.1) - 11/07/2020 : v0.12 - fuselage Part2 reinforcement (flat 3mm carbon) - spacer - removable noose for glider (put lead inside) - 15/07/2020 : Added alternative wing with TP60J airfoil (better for aerobatics / inverted flight)
