CAPITEL CAST. A capital of a term cross carved from a single block of stone. The octagonal capital features 3 characters and three shields. The stone has undergone significant erosion, causing the details of the carving to be lost and making it extremely difficult to identify the heraldry of the shields or attributes of the characters. The term cross suffered a fall, resulting in one of the characters being lost. Currently, the cross and present capital are undergoing restoration. CAPITEL CAT.
