At Cape Agulhas (34° 49′ 58″ south, 20° 00′ 12″ east), Africa's southernmost land, you'll find the iconic lighthouse situated between the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Completed in 1849, the 27-meter high tower features a 31-metre lantern focal plane with a light reaching 30 nautical miles (56 km) due to its 7.5 megacandelas power. Originally fueled by oil lamps, it transitioned to a 4 kW electric lamp and diesel generator around 1935. The original lens was replaced in 1910 with a first-order Fresnel lens, inspired by Alexandria's Pharos design. The keeper's house now houses a museum displaying a scaled model of the lighthouse, including a Fresnel lantern with lenses and prisms, alongside textured soil landscape (140m x 140m) and sea (334m x 334m) elements. The necessary textures are included in each zipped format file, ranging from 320KB to 1.62MB in size.
