Capacitive sensor holder for Wilson RepRap
thingiverse
I borrowed inspiration from nhambayi's design and tailored it perfectly to the capacitive sensor. I added an embedded nut to ensure easy height adjustment of the sensor with utmost precision. The LJC18A3-B-Z/BY is the reliable sensor used for this project. To make 3D printing hassle-free, I included supportive material that can be easily removed using a knife. You can simply attach the holder to your cold end carriage by enlarging the bolts and adding an extra nut to each one, remember to include washers as well. I've also attached the .ipt file for any future modifications you may want to make. I recommend printing the model with the sensor hole aligned to the bed for a perfectly cylindrical sensor result. Additionally, the supportive material will help bridge gaps efficiently. Feel free to showcase your own makes and remixes!
