Microtechnologies creates pressure, vacuum, and differential pressure switches and sensors for their partner Micro Pneumatic Logic (MPL). Notably, MPL 9391 is a low-pressure variable output sensor designed by the same company. Leveraging this existing product's design for cost-effective improvements and utilizing Microtechnologies' core manufacturing technology seems feasible. Inspired by MPL 9391, the designer created a Capacitive Fluid Level Indicator with aluminum electrodes, potentially replaceable with carbon fiber ones. The innovative electrode arrangement involves a hollow cylindrical outer electrode with surface holes to enhance fluid mechanics and dynamics. In essence, this new design improves upon MPL 9391's exterior while employing capacitive fluid level testing principles.
