I tightened these washers onto the roof of my pop-up camper (1996 Starcraft) to secure them to the supports. Positioning the washer atop the cap screw is key. A bead of caulk must be applied around the bolt hole before inserting the bolt. Beneath the washer, a groove provides space for excess caulk to seal out moisture more effectively. The tapered design gives my camper's roof a sleek, finished appearance.
