I required a container for my M6 nuts and bolts, so I created this Cap Nut Container. It is quite spacious and has a thread comparable in size to M64. Unfortunately, a metric thread of this magnitude is challenging to print if you desire to use a layer height of 0.3mm. I reconfigured the thread to have an angle of 80° instead of the standard 60°. Now the nut and bolt will print flawlessly at layer heights up to 0.3mm with a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm. The threads possess a play of 0.5mm, allowing it to scale down the parts to 50% without compromising the functionality of the thread. I tested the design on three printers with varying layer heights up to 0.3mm and all printed models performed satisfactorily.
