Cap for SIGG bottle

Cap for SIGG bottle

A customized replacement cap for my SIGG water bottle came into being through the clever use of Fusion 360 to design it, which was then successfully printed on my trusty Ultimaker Original+. It's a delightful process, creating something with your own hands, even if you're unsure whether going through the motions would've been cheaper in the long run. By Marco How I created this: I used colorfabb PLA coloured lila to print the cap itself, carefully flattening out the top surface so it could be printed without relying on support material. It's essential to orientate it upside-down when printing - take a glance at the attached photo. For the sealing ring, I chose Ultimaker flexible PLA in white and stuck it to the cap with some glue, but I'm unsure whether gluing is truly necessary for the purpose of securing it in place.
