Cap for Nema 17 Adapter
thingiverse
I created this little cap for the Nema17 adapter on my 28BYJ-48 Stepper motor, thanks to szalat's great design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2218916). In some projects, I found that the ring around the spindle acts like a support or centering positioner, which this original adapter lacks. That's why I made this little cap. The cap was designed on Sketchup (2014), so it's not a perfect circle. If you want to improve it with a CAD program and make it into a perfect circle, I've added the files for you to work with. To attach the cap, apply a dab of Rubber/Silicone glue directly to the plastic on the original adapter block, not on the motor itself. My printing settings were: First Layer 0.2mm, Layer Height 0.2mm, Infill 10%, Vertical Walls 5, and Horizontal Walls 5. I printed it with PLA, but ABS would have been a better choice.
With this file you will be able to print Cap for Nema 17 Adapter with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Cap for Nema 17 Adapter.
