We installed two motion-sensing lights on our indoor staircase and upstairs hallway, but they keep coming on during the daytime when we don't need them. This unnecessary activation drains their batteries rapidly. To prevent this issue, I created protective covers for the lights that can be placed over them during daylight hours.
