I actually created this a while ago specifically for clamping 10W LED's just like this one attached to aluminum while thermal epoxy cures. The concept is that pressure should only be applied to the aluminum backing, not the LED itself, through the four small feet. I envisioned this design complementing the model by patvdleer.
