Cap for Apple Wireless Keyboard Power Button

We're all about embracing the nomadic lifestyle here! Anyone who's ever owned an Apple bluetooth keyboard knows how frustrating it is to toss it in their backpack with their iPad or other tablet, only to have the keyboard turn on and drain the battery! That's why I created this simple solution. Just slip it over your power button, and you're good to go! It fits perfectly on both sides of the keyboard, keeping everything level while typing. The other end can serve as a spare in case the original gets lost. Plus, if you need to remove the batteries and don't have a Japanese coin handy, you can use the edge of this cap to unscrew the battery case. I know there are other options available on Thingiverse that do the same thing, but I tried one of them and it wouldn't fit. The outside diameter of the keyboard is 17.7mm, so I designed this cap with an inside diameter of 18.3mm (17.7 + 0.6mm). It printed out to a perfect snug fit. If you find this useful, I'd be thrilled to see your creations! Please share your work and consider tossing a bitcoin or two my way: 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv. Include a note saying "Hi 3E8, thanks for the keyboard cap - my life is infinitely better because of it!" You're welcome in advance!
