I remixed Fedor's incredible X axis stepper motor cover to serve as a protective shield for my extruder motor mount, which is now vacant because I relocated it to a direct extruder modification. I plan to eventually convert this into a snug-fitting cap; until then, you can 3D print some M3 bolts in PLA, just like I did. Kudos to FedorSosnin, be sure to check out his outstanding work.
