Canyonlands Flooded Landscape 3D model

In this model I generated a small excerpt of an astonishing natural landscape, carved by the water for thousands of years. After gazing at the intricate dry water paths left behind, I decided to generate a water plane that could be raised and lowered, in order to simulate different flood scenarios. Triangulated model, fully scaled, georeferenced and generated with controlled precision to ensure proportions integrity. Approximately area 972ha/2402ac, diagonal length 4.5km/2.8mi. The model can also be used for analytical purposes (linear and volumetric measurements, profiles and cross/sections, spatial analysis, check DEM thumbnail). Metric system. Native format (.obj) with base texture (.mtl) and (.png unwrapped) included. I set up some basic lights and rendering settings just to showcase the model and this file it's also included on model package (.blend). The (.obj) file will show up at its original UTM coordinates. The rendered model was reduced to 0.1 of its original size and brought close to origin. Please contact me for other formats or if you need a particular model like this for another specific location.
