Cantilever Suspension for Axial SCX10
thingiverse
I designed this Cantilever Suspension to give you more options for bodies on your Axial SCX-10 by removing the rear shock towers. My main objective was to use the stock shocks to keep costs down. To complete this project, you'll need to print the parts and purchase a few nuts and bolts. The overall cost is very affordable, and if anything breaks, you can always print a new part. Here's a list of the parts needed for this project: Printed Parts: 1 x Base (I added a second base option with larger peg holes for the "Mount Left and Right" in case your printed part is too tight) 1 x Mount Left - Glue to "Base" part 1 x Mount Right - Glue to "Base" part 2 x Pivot 1 2 x Pivot 2 2 x Spacer 1 2 x Spacer 2 Bought Parts: 2 x M3 40mm bolts 2 x M3 nuts 4 x M2 16mm bolts 4 x M2 nuts (You can use M3 bolts and nuts instead of M2, just drill the holes a bit bigger) Made or Bought Part: 2 x Push rods, 28mm long from center of ball joint to center of ball joint - For the push rod connection between the cantilever itself and the axle, I used extra rod ends that come with a SCX10 purchase.
