Canted Rayven cages based on OFP
thingiverse
I took OFP's Rayven cage and tweaked it a bit. The flywheels now have a unique angle, the muzzle is tighter and feeds directly into the barrel, I removed excess material from areas where it caused issues with some blasters and added walls to keep wires out of the wheels, also installed ventilation shafts to cool the motors. Test versions for Blasterparts and Artifact cages are complete (with minor adjustments afterwards), while the Snikkas Flywheels cage remains untested - I created it after several of my Snikkas print cages jammed. The main difference between these three versions is crush, BP wheels are smaller because they were designed with stock cages and motors in mind, whereas Artifact/Worker wheels already produce significant crush compared to standard wheels. DRS wheels are quite unusual since they weren't intended for other cages, so the motor ducts have a smaller external diameter and crush is also relatively small. I don't know the exact crush numbers offhand, but these cages are more on the low-crush side, designed to work with 2S LiPos in LARP blasters that remain safe to play with. Kudos go out to the Open Flywheel Project for their outstanding work!
