This critical component attaches directly to the center of the canopy's top section, often referred to as a canopy or tent. A separate square area is located in the very center of the top where this piece is situated. Due to its design, this part is inherently fragile and prone to failure. Since this replica is modeled after the original part, it will inevitably share the same weaknesses. The canopy itself is manufactured by Walmart, but the issue may apply to other brands as well; however, I am not aware of any facts that confirm this. Pictures have been included for reference purposes, allowing you to verify that this part corresponds with your specific canopy model. I printed the replacement piece using ABS-R material from M3D, which provided satisfactory results. A 50% infill was used in the printing process; however, it's unclear whether this had a significant impact on the final product's strength. The critical stress area is where the part attaches to the metal component, so further testing may be required. The print time for this model came in at approximately one and a half hours when printed at regular speed. Breakaway supports were utilized during the printing process, and the object was printed on its side. Depending on your printer's capabilities, you may need to adjust the orientation of the print job to achieve stronger results. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the holes required a 1/4" drill to clear properly. It's also essential to note that a new bolt, screw, and possibly a washer will be necessary to secure this replacement piece to the metal component. The original part was attached on one side of the plastic section, which may have contributed to its fragility.
