To extract these textures, utilize one of several supported software: Sketchup (free), Cinema 4D (trial version sufficient), 3ds Max, or Rhinoceros 3D (trial version sufficient). Each program offers a unique method for accessing the textures. For example, in Sketchup, export a 2D file under File/Export/2D Graphic within the dropdown menu. Alternatively, choose File > Export > 3D Model and export as COLLADA (.dae) with "Export Texture Maps" checked in 3ds Max.
