Sometimes you want to use your strap. Sometimes you don't. Therefore, I designed the DSLR Strap Clamp! Please note that I created this clamp originally for the EOS 100D/Rebel SL1; other straps may be too wide or too narrow. These files are non-zip files; I made a version for the Canon 550D, which is in the zip file. Since Brovy_Dobson successfully adapted it to his Nikon D5300, we can confirm that it works for that model! I've added an anti-slip mat that you can glue to the base plate for extra security. I printed this with Ninja Flex, which worked beautifully! Check out a YouTube clip showing the clamp in action: https://youtu.be/Y9mRKeB4V_8 If you like my designs, please consider donating! For optimal use, attach it to your camera using a tripod screw. To find one, search on eBay or AliExpress for "1/4" D-Ring Screw Thread Bolt for Camera Tripod."
