I recently took matters into my own hands and built a lens hood for my trusty Canon G3X camera. This versatile camera has been on store shelves for over two months now, but somehow its essential accessories seem to be in short supply - including the all-important lens hood. Determined not to let this hold me back from capturing life's precious moments, I decided to take the DIY route and create my own lens hood from scratch. To everyone's surprise, it works flawlessly even at the camera's widest settings without producing a single vignette.
