Canon FD Lens Adapter to 1.25" SVBONY Cameras
thingiverse
This Thing adapts Canon FD lenses to the SVBONY SV105 astrophotography camera. The adaption is a friction fit against the tube attached to the camera. The tube of the SVBONY has an outer diameter of 31.65mm, so not exactly 1.25 inches. If other variants of this camera have the same diameter, they will also fit. The adapter can focus to infinity on my specific camera, although the flange focal distance does not seem to add up to the 42mm some sources claim from the Canon FD bajonet to the image sensor. There are two versions of this adapter. One version has a fixed cam to push the iris actuating lever of the FD lens towards the "closed" position, so the f-stops can be used. A bit of care has to be taken when attaching the lens, the fully open lever sits in the same position as the cam, so the adapter has to be rotated a bit when attaching it to the lens. The other variant of this Thing has no cam and can be printed without supports. The CAD file is included, in case you need to change the diameter of the friction fit or the flange focal distance.
