A fresh redesign based on an authentic Canon lens cap offers enhanced details, unlike simpler versions from other manufacturers. The tapered design ensures secure fitting to the lens. Currently, it remains unprinted; I plan to print this next weekend using Alibre Design (offering a 30-day trial suitable for this project). Post-printing, attach an upper plate and complete the task by following these steps: 1) printing, 2) attaching the plate. Due to overhang challenges, the plate isn't included in the design.
