I upgraded from my 80D APS-C camera to a full-format 5D, necessitating new lenses. Unfortunately, the thread on my Meike FC110 ring flash only went up to 72mm, whereas I required 77mm. To resolve this issue, I created an adapter that clicks into place like a lens hood. This eliminates any concerns about the tiny threads on the lens and makes it simple and quick to apply. The design itself is straightforward; I printed it in PLA and used a few small screws to secure it together. Alternatively, the two parts can be glued together with ease. After experimenting, I discovered that my Janbex PLA isn't as great as I thought, and printing it in one piece with extensive support yielded subpar results. Nevertheless, it still works without needing further refinement.
