Instructions for Creating a Dummy Battery Terminal for Canon EOS Cameras: This tutorial is designed to help you create a dummy battery terminal for your Canon EOS camera models, including the M, M2, M10, M50, M100, M200, SX70 HS, and Rebel SL1. To get started, gather the necessary materials: an 8V power source and a 2mm diameter wire. The first step is to strip the sheath of the wire, approximately 1cm in length, and then flip it over to insert into the terminal. Refer to sample picture 1 for clarification. Next, connect the other end of the wire to any desired 8V power source. Secure the connection with four small screws, ideally eight for added strength. If extra stability is required, apply some glue to reinforce the attachment. Sample picture 2 provides a visual reference for this step. Once assembled, your dummy battery terminal is ready for use.
