It's a highly detailed, low-poly 3D model of Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM Super Telephoto Lens used in various fields like game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, and visualization. This model was created from ortho-photos of the real lens, resulting in a highly authentic recreation of all its design details. One major advantage of this model is its ease of use: it's composed of just three meshes, making it low-polygonal (resource-efficient) and featuring three materials – the Lens body and two Glass Lenses. Regardless of the renderer used, this model will always look incredibly realistic thanks to high-resolution photo-textures. Its competent topology, combined with detailed textures, enables a minimum amount of polygons to achieve maximum quality, suitable even for close-ups. To further enhance realism, additional textures are used – Specular, Glossiness, and Bump. For optimal Bump depth, set the Bump Multiplier to 0.1-0.2 in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. The four main textures have a square resolution of 4096 pixels in .png format, along with original texture files in .PSD format within the archive. This model was created using 'Maya 2009' 3D software and has accurate dimensions in real-world scale (in centimeters). All parts are correctly grouped and named for easy access. A pre-configured render-scene is provided, saved in the Maya 2014 .ma format with V-Ray 2.40. This scene opens correctly in earlier versions of Maya up to 2012 with V-Ray 2.0. The render-scene includes six V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors and features the V-Ray MTL material assigned to the model. Relevant Preview Images are set on the Timeline, along with animation keys for the model and Render Camera position. To better understand material characteristics and geometry, an HDRI scene was rendered separately, showcasing visual realism and more realistic lighting effects. However, this scene is not included in the sale due to its unique requirements. The model is compatible with other 3D software formats – .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version) scenes are saved for easy transfer and use in various applications. Note that this Low-Poly model is not designed to be used with any smoothing modifiers.
