This adapter enables users to install Canon bayonet mount 8mm lenses produced in 1957 onto D-mount adapters compatible with leading digital SLR cameras. The lenses function optimally when paired with Pentax Q digital cameras. To upgrade this print, simply add D-mount threads and lengthen the shaft using a tap/die set for secure threading. Alternatively, use tape to secure the mount to the lens and adapter plate. Note that PLA can break easily if subjected to forceful impacts at 90 degrees to the camera's shooting axis.
