Canon 50mm F1.4 focus gear

I adore focus pullers, but I detest those fiddly adjustable rings they come with. So, I took matters into my own hands and designed some focus rings to stick permanently on my lenses. These custom-made rings look fantastic and function flawlessly. I'll upload a picture of the ring in action once it's printed - this is version 2, which has a slightly looser fit than the first prototype. The initial design was too tight. I used an online gear tooth calculator to get started: https://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/gear_calc.html. Then, I refined the design using a Windows app: http://www.forestmoon.com/software/GearDXF/. I'm grateful for the creator of this motion who sparked the idea - check out their video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_pB6rcDNZg&t=91s. Now, I've printed custom focus rings for all my lenses. Happy printing!
