I'd definitely have it face upwards so it's not on the bottom of the cannon. I'm curious to hear from people who've printed it, and what settings they used. That model shown in the picture was printed on a Lulzbot Mini from Aleph Objects, but unfortunately, my teacher handled that print, so I don't have any insight into those settings.
