I recently assembled a Cannon Keys Practice75 keyboard because, well, I wanted the practice to see if I had the patience to solder switches onto a board, and didn't want to spend tons of money for the experience. But the case of the Practice series keyboards is just two acrylic plates with brass standoffs connecting them, so the board sits flat, and it rests on the bottom bolt heads. At first I just slapped some rubber feet on the bottom to get it off the bolts, but the flatness of it was still bugging me, so this thing was a quick and dirty solution to get me a 6 degree angle. You will need to print at least two of these for the sides, but four will provide slightly more support. The bottom M3x6 bolts might need to be replaced with M3x8. Adding rubber feet to the bottom to help prevent it from sliding around will result in a very tall keyboard that might feel awkward even with a wrist rest, so I would recommend replacing the 10mm standoffs that come with the kit with 8mm standoffs. Unfortunately, I can only find 8mm standoffs in nylon or horribly overpriced aluminum. I will try some 6mm standoffs when I get some, but I'm concerned that they won't be long enough for both the top and bottom bolts to fully tighten. I would recommend rotating the model 180 degrees on the x-axis and 6.1 degrees on the y-axis so that the bolt holes will print cleanly. This will result in the bottom surface having kind of a stair-step to it from the layers, so some light sanding might help rubber feet adhere better. To-do: Rotate the model so it is in the optimal position for printing. Add a 7 degree version. Blow off the first two to-dos if someone designs something better than this...
