Canine Animal Tooth Necklace
thingiverse
This tooth necklace was designed to showcase my enthusiasm for wolves. I aimed to create a piece that could be easily scaled up for cosplay costumes. As a beginner in 3D printing, I wanted to experiment with printing chain links together. This design was printed upright with the links facing downwards to minimize post-printing cleanup of supports. Horizontal printing worked, but it left a lot of sanding and cleanup on the smooth surfaces of the tooth. It was printed at 25%, 20%, and 15% infill levels, and scaled from 40mm all the way up to 90mm. In the upright position with links facing down, they are the weakest part of the model. During cleanup, the links broke multiple times when trying to remove support material. I hope that some of you will remix this design and improve the link structure. In the future, I plan to sculpt the upper portion of the model to include a wolf symbol.
