Canette (Allegory of Continents) stands tall in Nuremberg circa 1600, a masterpiece crafted after Caspar Enderlein's model from 1560. This tin work of art is now housed at the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium. Nuremberg's skilled tin potters, inspired by François Briot and Caspar Enderlein, begin producing exquisite tableware for ceremonial occasions. Their creations, often commemorative dishes and plates, feature equestrian portraits of Germanic emperors or vibrant illustrations of religious themes. These beautifully crafted pieces are presented at significant events in both public and private life.
