This is CaneSpyda, Custom Remix of the Spyda 500 quadcopter. I've optimized the design by separating motor mount, ESC mount and frame into distinct components, making it easier to print smaller parts. You can easily customize the arms using various materials such as Carbon Fiber, wood or aluminum, each providing unique properties for flight performance. For my own build, I opted for a 10mm size Carbon Fiber setup. This design has been printed using PLA with a moderate 30 percent fill rate for optimal weight, and increasing this rate further can greatly enhance durability. Additionally, consider utilizing ABS on the Bottom Plate to increase its resilience over time. Once you've put it to the test, please share your results. Future plans include designing a more compact Spyda 250 model based on this prototype's architecture.
