This is a crank handle for a Canedy-Otto no. 0 post drill. It will probably also work with other post drills. I printed at 100% infill with abs. After printing I sanded until the layer lines were gone. Then wiped it with some acetone to make it smooth. I made a new bolt from a 6" long 3/8" bolt and a 3/8" carriage bolt. I drilled the head of the carriage bolt with a 3/8" drill bit and cut off the head. I cut the head off of the 6" long bolt. I removed the zinc coating by soaking it in some phosphoric acid, but vinegar would also work. The carriage bolt head was slid onto the 6" long bolt and welded on. After welding I rounded the head and removed the markings. I assembled the new handle on the drill with a slight gap. The extra length of the bolt was marked and cut off. I used Loctite 609 to glue the bolt in place. The Fusion 360 file is included.
