Cane to Table Clips

I have friends who use canes to help them walk with confidence. They often lean their canes against a table, but it frequently falls to the floor, causing frustration. To solve this problem, I designed a device that holds their canes upright so they don't have to bend down to pick them up anymore. This innovative solution works perfectly on tables ranging from 1/2 inch (13mm) thick to 1-1/4 inches (32mm) thick, and it can be used at any height. The design ensures that the cane holder stays attached even if someone absent-mindedly pulls the cane off the table. One version of this device is specifically designed for straight shaft canes, while another version is tailored for canes with an angle near the handle. I successfully printed these devices using TPU material at 99% infill, and they worked flawlessly. For optimal support, simply lay the device on its broadest side, and it will provide a sturdy base that's easy to remove when needed.
