Line storage for a cane pole. It is mainly intended for a 2 piece pole. Dealing with the line and hook after a cane pole is broken down can be a real hassle. This is my solution to the problem. Install the reel by taping the reel to the pole about 6" from the largest end. After breaking down the pole, place the tip of the pole behind the reel and then wrap the line around the reel. Place the hook in any of the many slots around the perimeter of the reel, with the point towards the middle of the reel for safety.
