The Dogo Cani is known as an aggressive and ferocious guard dog that was born from the breeding of indigenous dogs with ancient Italian Molossus bloodlines. With their powerful and intimidating physical build, these intelligent canines possess the ability to attack by employing powerful biting strength, along with unrelenting ferocity towards both its target and anyone in sight. However, in spite of this inherent hostility and fighting spirit within their genetics, when adequately socialized at a young age they become a friendly and trustworthy companion animal, as capable of forming enduring attachments to human companions. Their natural instinct is to fiercely guard family members and property but never poses any aggressive threats if its loved ones do not provoke an attack. Due to their intelligent temperament, these breeds require extensive training and patience throughout the puppy development process, or else may result in disobedience problems such as barking, whining and separation anxiety issues later on. When properly instructed they grow up into confident dogs possessing high self-esteem levels and displaying incredible athletic skills.
