Cane Angle Bracket with Bag Hook and Attachment Points

thingiverse

A versatile bracket designed to attach seamlessly to canes featuring a bend. The hook is engineered for grocery bags but possesses sufficient strength to handle any task you might envision. It boasts square reinforcements (20mm on centers) on each side, facilitating effortless attachments. All the pre-drilled holes are precisely sized for M3 bolts, with an enlarged recess on part A accommodating bolt heads and a smaller recess on part B securely housing M3 nuts. This design was crafted specifically for my own cane, which boasts a 22.5-degree bend (1/16th of a circle) and a pipe diameter of 22.35mm. An intentional buffer zone is incorporated to accommodate various sizes and angles. To ensure a secure fit, I recommend applying tape around the bend area on your cane, though this step is not strictly necessary. Supports are optional but highly recommended, and with a 25% infill density, it has demonstrated impressive durability after several weeks of regular use. Feel free to modify this design as needed to suit your specific requirements.
