Candy Bowl

This bowl is designed specifically for serving candy and other treats, making it perfect for movie nights or showcasing your favorite hobby. The bowl was created to test large-bore nozzles in 3D printing. We show the result of a 1.0 mm nozzle print at 0.8 mm layer height here. Printing this bowl at faster speeds is possible, but we slowed it down to achieve a high-gloss finish. The bowl measures 136 mm wide and 60 mm tall. It took under two hours to print at around 20-30 mm/s. This design's simple shape makes it easy to print. To eliminate the layer-change zipper-line we used vase-mode in our print settings. We printed the bowl with taulman 3D t-glase (PETT) filament to make it strong and achieve optimal transparency.
