Candlestick Shade 01

I am excited about this new shade for my Candlestick lamp (check out the link above to see what it's based on - a unique take on the maglite operated lamp). The shade was created with a stylized, cartoonish candle shape in mind, meant to capture the essence of a candle rather than replicating its actual form. Scrolled into the sides are spirals, adding visual interest, while inverted perspective techniques and the subtle suggestion of a wick complete the whimsical look.
